Yes and No, you cannot have them "separately" at the same time, but if you put them together as One, you can certainly have them at the same time, in fact in truth this is the "Great Learning" that allows you to move forward on the "Path of God". For example, You must use God to get to God, and you must use the World to get rid of the World, So if you put them together as One, you hand the World which is what you have to God, and let God get rid of it, by Revealing Himself within it, that is, but opening it up and extracting the Understanding of the World, and then handing that back to you. This is how you "Do Business With God". Rumismith: Bawa. The difficulty is to have the awareness of God at all times, if not one gets involved or carried away by trivial worldly matters.. Yes, for the "Love of God", and what that means for the "Oneness of God", and you demonstrate that by "Doing Business With God", by you handing Everything that God puts in front of you, which is the World, back to God, realizing that in truth "You and God" are One, which in truth is the "Love of God", with you Now having Everything that God can use to "Reveal God to God", which is the world, and God having Himself, and the Ability to Open and Reveal God within Everything that you hand Him of the world. And in this way, "You and God" Start to Live as One. MuhaiyaddeenLB: Bawa. Al-hamdu lillah. Allahu Akbar. Bawa. The way you have the "Awareness of God" is by Stopping all of your acting as if you are "separate from" God, by affirming the truth of your life, which is "Your Oneness" with Him, that is, by Start Using what you have, which is the world, to affirm God's Presence. For example, by looking at your mother and handing her to God, and by looking at your brothers and sisters and handing them to God, not by trying to become something that is really only in your imagination, like you "aware of God", for in truth Only God is Aware of God, but you can Stop acting like you believe in the world, and say Bawa and hand the world to Him, and you can Get Him to Pray to God, when you think of God, by handing your thought to pray to Bawa, and in this way by Stopping your acting like you believe in God. MuhaiyaddeenLB: Bawa. Al-hamdu lillah. Allahu Akbar. Bawa. So instead of trying to become what you imagine you would like to be, like one who is always aware of God, which is something only God can do, instead, focus on what you can do, which is to Stop believing in the world, and Stop acting like you believe in God, and instead Use God to deal with the world, handing your family, your friends, the mountains and scenes, and your thoughts, and your ideas, to Him, to Bawa, as you experience them, And be Done with Them, then You and God are One, you doing your part and God doing His part. In this way, make you "your left leg", and God or Bawa "your right leg", but where it gets difficult is when you try to be both legs, thinking that you can become good, or holy, or pray, instead of using God or Bawa to do this part, while you as the "shirt of the soul" do the part that the "shirt of the soul" can do, which is to experience the world, but then Step Back and Invite God to Step Forward, by trust in a Higher Reality of Yourself, which is God, which is Bawa, and handing your "lower reality", which is you, to your "Higher Reality", letting your "Higher Reality" pull you into Itself, as you keep handing your "lower reality" to your "Higher Reality", with you in the End, becoming One with your "Higher Reality" in this way, that is, by you affirming with each breath, each look, each word, each taste, each thought, that in truth, Only Your Higher Reality Exists, and then since is the Truth of You, (more) MuhaiyaddeenLB: Bawa. Al-hamdu lillah. Allahu Akbar. Bawa. And then since is the Truth of You, then God will "Make It So". Bawa. It is really all Just a "Self Fulfilling Prophesy", that is, "Whatever you intend is what you will receive", this is the Justice of God, So, Start to act as "One with" God, which is the Truth of you, and Stop acting as "separate from" God, which is the "falsehood of you", in Everything that you do, and God will Most Certainly "Make It So". And this Really Works, because God can Do Anything, and you can't do Anything, So Stop using you, and Start using God, and this is Wisdom, sitting in the "Presence of God", and hearing the "Word of God", and this is the life of this child, this is the "Reality" of this child, and if you do what this child does, then gradually you will Start to experience this as "Your Reality", and "your current reality" will Start to fade away, like the moon because a shadow of itself when the Sun comes out. Bawa And that is wonderful, because you Start with the word Bawa, which is inviting God to Step Forward, as You Step Back, but you are treating the "trivial worldly matters" as something that should leave. But they cannot leave, they are you. But what you are not doing with them is using them to Do Business With God, because these very same trivial worldly matters are of Great Value to God, that is, when you are "Done with Them", and then you use them to Do Business With God, So You give God what you have, and then God gives you what He has, that is Doing Business with God. And it really works. So be peaceful with your trivial worldly matters, but use them better. MuhaiyaddeenLB: Bawa. Al-hamdu lillah. Allahu Akbar. Bawa. And when you Start to "Do Business With God" in this way, then nothing bothers you, because no matters what comes to you, Now you view it as something to use to "Do Business with God", not as something that you don't like, or like, for in truth it is all the same, it all is only valuable in God's Hand, not in your hand, and what God has is clarity about each of your trivial worldly matters, which is what He will hand back to you, having extracted the clarity of trivial worldly matters from the trivial worldly matters. Something Only God can do, that is, if you will only let Him, if you will only join as "One with" Him to do this, this "Doing Business with God". MuhaiyaddeenLB: Bawa. Al-hamdu lillah. Allahu Akbar. And when you Do Business With God in this way, that is, Using God to Get to God, and Using the World to get Rid of the world, then gradually you will no longer see trivial worldly matters, instead you will Start to see what is hiding behind them, and then what is hiding within that, and on and on until only God is there, that is, God is looking at God, and this, and only this, is how that occurs. So you are So very, very close to True Success in your life, which is "settling into stillness through the realization that everything is perfect", and as you truly become still, then you will experience God Speaking through you, not you trying to speak for God, or do for God, because Now you realize that in truth "You and God" are One, Now you are How God reveals Himself to Himself for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within you, you are His Door, His Way, as Jesus (peace be upon Him) said, through which all of the Creation of God, within God within you, returns to God, from which Everything has come, like the rain water falling back into the ocean, from which it came, having completed its duty as rain, Now no longer as rain, no longer "separate from" the ocean, as rain.
